If you're having the 'my post shows up blank, my answer isn't there' trouble posting your answers to the writer's block question, then please click the lj-spoiler here and answer a few troubleshooting questions, if you have time.
Thanks!
[Questions]
All of these questions refer to the specific times when you've posted an answer to writer's block and it's shown up blank (your answer has been stripped out).
1) What browser and version were you using? (If you can try other browsers, are any of them successful for you -- if so, which ones?)
2) Are you posting the entry using the Rich Text editor or the HTML editor? (We believe the problem has to do with the RTE.)
2a) If your entry editor default setting is to use the RTE, then problem may occur even if you switch to HTML after initially loading in the RTE. If it's not too much trouble, can you switch your entry editor setting to HTML here to be the HTML editor, then try to answer the question again, so that you are only ever working within the HTML editor? Does the answer post successfully when you do this? You can then switch the setting back to RTE to get back to your normal entry mode.
3) If you've used the RTE to post your answers, please trying switching to the HTML editor before posting your entry. (Use the 'Rich Text | HTML' tabs on http://www.livejournal.com/update.bml to switch editors.) If you post using the HTML editor, does it post OK and show your answer?
Thanks!
