Honestly, it's not so much about the candidates as it is their supporters attacking everyone. As an independent who hates labels, I'm sick of hearing how all Democrats are closet communists, all Republicans are racist sexist who hate poor people... just because there's currently some shitty politicians representing both parties doesn't mean it's okay to insult individual voters for their beliefs.
Actually, you can post either to your own journal as an entry or as comments here to the post itself like you did -- whichever you prefer. It's up to you! :D
Actually, I've looked at the other questions and a few people have responded to the comments.
Can I ask why this matters so much to you? I tried being diplomatic, figuring maybe you were trying to be helpful, but as you don't seem to want to let it go I have to ask. Because clearly appearing to post in the wrong place really rubbed you the wrong way, even if I actually didn't.
