And in some ways it's a lot harder to control/fix than any other addiction. With smoking, they have PATCHES and all this other help for you. Same with alcohol and drugs, but those are mostly hospitals I guess. There is seriously nothing here to help me with my overeating.

I very much understand. Not to mention that with many addictions, the person does not really NEED their substance of choice to survive. On the other hand, it's not like we can just stop eating entirely. I've had addiction issues with a few things and food is the only one I have not been able to break. :/

I really hope you find something that helps you in this struggle. And if you do, feel free to let me in on the secret!

Exactly... It's not like you can stop eating all together and keep away from specific foods that cause you to overeat. At least, not if it's a common food.

Thinking or feeling. Sometimes it'd be nice to just get a break when it all comes rushing.
